I am Dr. Cornelia Kermel.
From 1991 I worked as a lawyer in an internationally active firm and in 1995 became one of the few women partners in a major German law firm. Later I founded my own boutique firm in energy law, before returning in 2013 as a partner to a major law firm, with a focus on the energy sector.
Today I look back on more than 30 years of experience as a partner in renowned law firms. My clients came from the energy sector – male-dominated, complex and demanding. This experience has shaped my view of the career paths of women lawyers.
